Im kinda on a tight budget for getting a power supply right now, nothing really over $70. I took a look on newegg.com for a few but nothing really caught my eye. The only one that realyl did was a Powmax 580watt Demon. and it was only like $32.50. When i saw that i was like holy cow its big, good brand, and looks nice. Why so cheap? lol.. if anyone has any input before i make my decision it woul dbe greatly appreciated!!!!

Powmax = crap at any wattage.
Powmax is NOT a good brand.
Might as well get an L&C :-(

This TTGI based "linkdepot" superflower is very quiet.. I personally am not a fan of ttgi, but a lot of people swear by them.. it's 450watts and has 27amps on the +12v

Really? i thought powmax was good! lol, guess i was told wrong... yeah, i forgot to mention i am also looking for a 380+ watt PSU w/ a lot of connectors.
 
Powmax is normally Leadman's worst brand line, now that Robanton has been discontinued, but these particular Powmaxes may be better because they look identical to Ultra brand PSUs, which according to someone who used to do tech support for Ultra (X-Connect PSUs) are made by Wintech. Internal pictures at TigerDirect and Terasan's confirm this.
