Anybody making any? I'm willing to pay for good quality work. I need a couple of fan grills made for a modded Shuttle. LMK what you can do.
 
It all depends on what you want...

I can do wire bending and welding, or I can do small milling jobs (as long as it's a simple pattern)

If you're looking for something fairly complex, you'd be better off finding a local machine shop as the originality of it may be a plus, and they'll do it for the cost of the metal and machine time.
 
Pretty simple - I'm looking for a grill basically in the form of a "cowell inducted" hood scoop. I'm trying to direct the outflow of warm air to the rear of my case as I have a pretty confined area and I seem to be drawing some of the hot air back through my side fan. Something that actually extended a little past the back of the case would be wonderful. And I would also like one similar to that for my side fan so that I can either drw from the front or bottom of the case.
 
I have a laser engraver-cutter and can make any grills out of acrylic. I have clear, black, mirror, and 8 different colored mirror acrylic. They are all 1/8" thick or about 3mm. I am not sure what you mean about a hood scoop but I can make any shape you want on a flat piece of acrylic.
 
Take a look at some stores, I'm sure I've seen these sold at retail before. Lian-li branded maybe?
 
so you want the hole in the middle then have a hood extend off it over it like a dryer vent on the side of your house?
 
ok, what you're wanting would probably best be done using fiberglass over a sculpted foam mold, as you're not looking for a "fan grill", but more of a "fan shroud"
 
Ghost/Sheldron - you're both correct. I thought about the dryer vent idea but I haven't had a chance to measure one out to see how it would work. I'd also like something a little more eye pleasing. I've never worked with fiberglass but I have seen some amazing creations using it. Anyone with fiberglass expertise?
 
What size fan are you talking about this being for? 2x 80mm, 1x 120mm, 3x 120mm???
