I’m installing a new motherboard, what should I do after turning on my pc , do I need to install some drivers or something . I’m new to this stuff sorry for being ignorant 😅
I have a intel i7 8700, rx580 8gb , 8gb ram ddr4 hyperx, 3 ssds (1 is nvme) , windows 10 and the motherboard is gigabyte b360 lga1151 ddr4

If you are keeping an existing Windows installation, you will need to install chipset drivers at a minimum. Assuming it will actually boot up like that. You should reinstall Windows when changing motherboards, but you can sometimes get away with just doing a driver install. Though it may force you to reactivate Windows as well.

I vote for a clean install. You'll be happier in the long run IMO.

you might get away with it with todays windows.

but i dotn stray from my old rule. New Mobo needs new clean OS install

Windows is pretty good with basic sound\video\lan drivers for basic needs and will work from the get go. Might be a good chance you need the ethernet\wifi drivers installed so you can connect to the internet at first. So firstly you might need lan\wifi drivers as well as the b360 Chipset drivers. Onboard sound if it has it and you use it. Bios update would be recommended but not necessary if you're not experiencing issues. RGB software to turn off the lights\change them.

pussies... ;)
it will probably boot up, update the hardware, reboot a couple times and then hit desktop no prob.
update the chipset drivers, and it should be good.
