Hey, I've been looking up spaekers and studio monitors for like a month or so I've been trying to decide on a better pair then my current 100$ klipsch for use inside DAWS and mixing music but I want my songs to sound good too right so I was looking up and people said to get studio monitors then I found out I needed interfaces mixers etc all this other stuff and then like they dont sound good for music cause their designed to sound flat? wut? lol so then I found some stuff contradicting this and that and all this other stuff lol just so confusing
ANYWAY
I remember a couple years ago I wanted the Swan m200's and decided to check that out again, all the stuff I read about it still gets really great reviews.
These are the ones im currently trying to decide on
Yamaha MSP3
Swans m200MKII (is the MKIII alot better? it's like more then 100$ more)
Fostex PM 0.5n (although I can't find it for sale in USA anymore for some reason, it looked really good if you guys can find it link me lol)
they're all 290$ range
anyway my main question I had for this thread was
Do you guys think the M200MKIIs sound accurate for mixing? aka comparable to similar priced studio monitors like yamaha HS40m, rokit 5
and second thing I'm worried, if anyone knows about Klipsch Promedia Ultra 2.0, do you know if the MKII's bass is as deep or deeper? It looks like it would be it's just I'm use to this bass and don't really want to go lower but yknow lol
