Hello.

I recently purchased a BFG GeForce 6600GTOC. Ive been browsing these forums for a while now and ive seen people "modding" their 6800's to gain extra pipelines, vertex shader etc, and also overclocking. Im wondering if anything like this is possible on this card.

Ive tried overclocking my card but i can never raise it past 560mhz (core), and even when i raise it just 10mhz i get artifacts. I find this strange because as far as i know, BFG OC cards can be overclocked even more than the fefault rates by quite a nice margin. I must be doing something wrong?

Anyhow, my main questions are, can i mod my 6600 in any way? Can anyone reccomend some tweaks or suggestions as to get the best out of my card?

Thanks!

Hey

I don't know if that's possible

but you can check it with a program called 'rivatuner'
you can unlock pipelines and vertex shaders.

I don't have the link, but if you don't find it I'll post it tomorrow

good luck

Grtz
