Ok i just recently upgraded my computer and i got A64 3500+ with an Asus A8N Sli mobo, but here is where i need advice...

Because of the rediculous price inflation in the PCI-E market i could not find any decent PCI-E highend (was lookin for 6800GT) video card anywere, even the XFX was way over priced. So i settled and got two eVGA 6600GTs put them in SLI. Did i make a mistake because i am not seeing good results. They bench about the same as my old BFG 6800GT OC AGP 8x (minus the increase from a processor).

So did i make a mistake, what should i do. Just wait until something new comes out from Nvidia or wait for the prices to come back down to at least MSRP? or return them and get 2 6800GTs

return the GTs. Get one ultra. Wait for price drop and get double.

Yeah like ^^^^^ said :D

Should have delved deeper into the vast amount of information found here and else where.

There are lots of benchmarks around that would have showed you that 2 6600 GTs are not as fast as one 6800 GT.
