Need SLi mobo, 790i vs 780i

I've been looking and I haven't been keeping up with Nvidia's chipsets.
Which will be better?
Is there any difference other than the RAM?
The specs will be:
Q9550
GTX 280 SLi
UCP PSU
4 1TB HDD
 
That's what I was thinking but since I'm going to be getting the 790i FTW digital would there be much of an OC'ing difference?
 
The digital pwm is supposed to help in quad core over clocking. On my 790i the most stable FSB I have achieved is about 467, on a QX9650. Note I only have the Ultra non FTW version. Also note that both FTW's use normal 790i chips not the ultra version. Supposedly paying for the ultra guarantees 2000mhz ram compatibility in the black slots.
 
Okay, sound's good.
DDR3-2000 doesn't matter, my friend is trying to spend as little as possible on DDR3 so no DDR3-2133 or some such for him.
