So I'm in the market for a really really quiet/silent case fan. I've got 4 case fans (plus 2 in the PS) in my comp now, and its just too loud. Anyone have recomendations? I've done stuff to try and fix airflow so lower RPM fans will still keep my case cool, so I'm not really worried about that.

I've got about 7xpanaflo 80mm fans just laying around in my closet. I have 4x in my case right now and it isn't very loud because I sleep with the computer on. But if you are really senitive to sound, you might think about 7volt or 5volt mod your fans. Also another source of sound is the CPU fan.

panaflo's are quiet, not sure if thats the right spelling though

or you could always get a tornado

Yea, I got my BIOS setup so that it slows the CPU fan down under a certain temp, which is good for nighttime, coz my comp doesnt do much. I'm gunna look into panaflows, thanks!
