My Intel Pentium 955 Extreme Edition Processor have a stocked HSF and it really sux my temp Rises to around 60 Idle. And Temp Rises for 71 with Load. I have not Overclocked this Processor and it runs great already. I am using this with Asus I975 Chipset. My Case have good AirFlow.

Can anyone recommend me good Heatsink for Exreme Edition processors that can take the Beat .

I was looking at GigaByte HSF , any suggestions ?

60 Idle? Are you sure the HSF is installed correctly? My wife's 920 idles under 30 with stock HSF at stock speed, and full load (2xPrime95) at 3.3GHz is 55*, according to Everest. I think you're doing it wrong.

Thermalright Ultra-120
Thermalright SI-128
Zalman CNPS 9500
Tuniq Tower
Scythe SCNJ-1000P

Any of the above should cool down those little fusion reactors. Check you case dimensions and ventilation first.

Good luck.

Thanks a bunch, I m going to go ahead and place an order for Zalman CNPS 9500. Lets hope this makes this beast come down.

Do you have high ambient temps in your room?
If so you might have trouble getting low idle values.
I'm not sure how much ambient temps would affect a case with
good cooling, but it's something to consider.

I have major problems myself because my room tends to get really hot
