Need quck help with dualies

I have a geforce4 ti4200 (old ish i know) and i finally got a second monitor hooked up to it via dvi to analog adapter. What im trying to do is have my primary monitor be able to house my entire desktop and "start bar" but if i turn on the secondary monitor (hooked up via dvi port with the adapter) i want to be able to drag certain applications to it (mainly traktor dj studio) and have them only shown over there. I coulda sworn back when i had a tv hooked up to the vivo port i could do this but when im trying now with a second monitor it will only let me clone or span my entire desktop. mucho helpo appreciated. thanks
 
I would do span but it also spans my start/task bar which I do not want to do if at all possible. Thanks for the suggestion.
 
With the version 66.93 drivers...

Right-click on desktop, choose "Properties", pick "Settings" tab, click "Advanced" button, choose "GeForce Ti4200" tab, choose the top item in the list (nView Display Mode), under "nView Modes" choose "Dualview". Click "Ok', click "Ok".

That gives you both monitors, but with the taskbar at the bottom of only the primary one. You can drag windows onto the secondary. Hope this helped!
