What I am looking for:

7+ sata connectors
Modular or Semi-Modular preferred.
Quiet

Budget is about 100 or so if it meets all of the above. Currently I have a Corsair CX400 which has been great, but I am moving my server from a Lian Li A04 to a Fractal Design Core 304.

Hardware in the server will be an i3-540, Gigabyte H55N-USB3, 8gb Samsung DDR3, & an SSD (probably going to move my Western Digital Blue 256gb SSD to it)

So I know I dont need alot wattage wise & the PSU I have now will ultimately do the job. I was just wanting to keep things a little cleaner if possible.

If I cant find one to do what I need then I may just mod the cx400 & remove the extra crap & add the 1 additional SATA connector.

Edit: Forgot to mention I will be buying via Amazon

You can shoot for this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/891392-REG/Antec_tp_550g_550W_TRUE_POWER_GOLD.html

It's an excellently built Delta unit;

The topology is pretty similar to the HCP-750/850 topology. Both Low-Load Calibration topology and both well similarly built. The HCP-750/850 are full bridge though, while the TP Gold seems to be half-bridge. You can notice whether a unit uses a modern LLC topology (for higher efficiency and built quality) from that transformer-like yellow boxy thing. It's called the LLC resonant converter.

As such, I'd expect it to perform very well. Though, it hasn't been reviewed yet. So if you want a tested and proven PSU, then you can go with this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/100511-Ther...-/320904792539?pt=PCA_UPS&hash=item4ab76a89db

It uses the same CWT DSG platform of the HX750 and 850, but with proper heatsinks unlike the metal scraps Corsair throws out. And even better performing since it's at a lower wattage level. :)

Looks to be a solid contender, I forgot to mention in my OP though that I will be buying via amazon..

Trying to make things cleaner, not add extra wire mess..

Yeah, and might as well add one of these in the mix if you want more Molex connections:

The HUMMER is very useful. It can drive :)D) CCFL's, fans, anything. There're many tricks you can do with it. You can plug it into one of these:

To run fans on it.

The point of the modular was to have NO molex conenctors. Its going into a mITX case with no windows & an integrated fan controller for the 3 fans it has.

Closing this thread as I have decided to mod a small non modular PSU instead of trying to buy one that wont meet all of what I want..
