im not sure if this is the right section to post but mods move it please if it isnt.

anyways i need a new printer im in college and i really dont need a top of the line printer just something that could print out essays. im not looking to spend too much since i dont have alot of cash but i dont mind forking over a couple more $$$ for a superior product. also i would like to have one that has cheap ink cartages that are easy to buy (staples/newegg reliable sites) . oh yea and i remind you that i know nothing about printers so if u recommend me one please tell me the pros and cons. thanks in advance all [H] members.

I've always been happy with HP's for text quality. shouldn't need to spend any more than $100.

If you are able, you should look at a laser printer if you are just doing text. Cost per page is generally lower. You shouldn't need to spend more than $400 at most.
