I already have a nice case, a 400 watt Antec psu and 2 nice hard drives as well as a dvd/cd recorder.

What do you all think about these components together ?

So far so good mate, what are your plans for this system? Any OC? If just surfing and basic gaming, should be a hell of a system. GL
 
Im guessing there are money restraints, but I really didn't have a good experience with the SLI-Premium, hope you fair better. The SLI-Deluxe works great, but it costs a few extra simoleons.
 
This pretty much a gaming rig. World of Warcraft, Oblivion and maybe Duke Nukem Forever :)

My OC'ing days are pretty much over. Just looking for stability so I don't have reboot 100 times trying to get a game to play 2 frames faster.

The deluxe looks about $9 cheaper.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe, its about 220, so its about 60$ more. My bad for not being more specific.

. . and duke nukem forever? this build will be a pile of dust by the time that game gets released. By the way I'm starting to believe that the game doesn't truly exist, but is merely a ploy to distract us from something greater. . .duke nukem INFINITY!!
 
It's all in the Express lanes, the normal deluxe forces the two cards to run in 8x by 8x mode in SLI, while this board enables 16x by 16x in SLI, allowing both cards to use the full speed of the pci express slot even running in dual. It's definitely a visible increase in performance, especially when you compare with mid range cards (like my lil 7800GT's :D )
