Hi all! I've been posting for about the last day over on the General Hardware forums about my new build, and I'm pretty happy with what I have come up with. The only point of concern that I have is the case, so I'm posting over here for a few thumbs-up/down posts before I go ahead with the purchase.

$55 - COOLER MASTER Centurion RC-534-KWN1-GP Black Aluminum front panel & Mesh bezel, SECC chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

That's the case, and the link to my thread is here: Final Specs

I'm open to any criticism on the case! I've looked through at least 150 cases (no joke) over the last three+ days and this is the one I settled on. Also, as a sidebar item--if someone could recommend a good rear fan to compliment the blue fan up front that'd be good too!

VERY nice specs you have there sir. The only thing I see that would keep me from buying that case is just HOW cheap it is. I have heard its a very good case. However, personally the three most important things in any of my builds is the PSU, Motherboard and case. You have the first two nailed to a T however, the case is a little on the in-expensive side. If it were me and I was getting a system that was going to cost me as much as the system you have listed is gunna cost. Then I would spring for something a little bit more expensive and maybe a little bit bigger and better built. I'm not saying the centurion by any means is a poorly built case, its just that in my experience any case that has costed me <$80-100 has been absolutely horrible. If it were me I would go with the P180 or a Lian-Li case just to top of that wonderful build. (I say P180 because that is the case I have and it is WONDERFUL)

I'll go take a peek at the P180 and see what it's about. I haven't placed the order yet but I'm at that point where I have to decide price vs. chance.... the case SEEMS like it would be fine, so spending another $50+ might not be "necessary" (can't come up with a better word for this).... and I like the look of the case I chose.

I'll definitely go look at the P180 right now, though! Thanks for the advice!

Yes. The Coolermaster Centurion line of cases is *very* good. I mean, they're honestly the best Price/performance ratio on the market today IMO, especially if you want a nice window.

I seriously recommend the Masstige (Aerocool) a it's got lots of nice features. A bit big, but the BTX style really helps with cooling.

Anyways, the Centurion is a great case, dont be thrown off by the price!

I've chosen the Centurion 5 as the case I build 80% of my "stock" computers with. In the last year I've built over 120 systems in that case. I really like it. Cheap, but well packed.

Sweet! That's all I need to hear. :) I'm going to agnoize over the cart for a bit before I click "Buy" or "Checkout" or whatever it is. :)

I finished up the purchase, the final cart is listed in the other thread, which I listed above.
