Hey fellow [H]|F members...

I am looking for your opinion! I am looking for the best mid tower case for < $70. I want know know what you think and I would also like to know what you think about the cases I have my interest in...

COOLER MASTER HAF 912

Antec Three Hundred Two

Antec Gaming Series One

I might make an exception and get a case that is < $80 bucks...

Let me know what you guys think.

I have used teh 690, the Tempest 210 and teh Antec 300 as well as my current 400R.
The 400 R is well worth the extra few bucks...

Basically, the length and number of video cards and the size of the Motherboard, Heatsink/Cooler and overclock intentions define case needs. What type video card coolers?
Wants are another story.

Any of the cases above are good choices, the 500R is better for serious liquid cooling.

Thanks for your input!

I did see the corsair 300R and it reminds me of my 650D.

I saw the CM 690 II and I found a case that looks just like it:

I saw the 400R but it'll break the bank. D=

That NZXT Tempest 210 doesn't look half bad...

Yeah if you look hard enough you will see that alot of these companies don't actually make the case you buy, but rather slap on their logo and maybe a couple things here and there to make them unique and charge more.

The Corsair 300r one is probably the best case you will get at this price point hands down.

Haha, sorry. I should have added more info. This case is for an i3 setup with a CM hyper 212+ and a 6870 graphics card. I'm just looking for a case that has good air flow with dust filters. Also hoping to find a case not too flashy.

Just my two cents in.... if you see an expensive case you like, go to see if the manufacturer has an actual store. For example I got the NZXT phantom full tower for well under $100. They have more sales than newegg will usually, and it cuts out the middle man to lower prices. Just something to keep in mind.

I have the Cooler Master 912 Advanced with side window, it is much smaller than a mid-tower it's a midi. The midi size makes for a very difficult build, takes some advanced planning or like me you will have to redo your work, all components fit very tight. The HAF 912 Advanced is a very well thought out chassis amazing airflow with the 2X200mm megaflow fans, but it does not scream luxury or quality. I replaced it with a Corsair 650D a few months later and could not be happier. I would take kirbster's advice and spend just a bit more for the Corsair 400R, you will be much more satisfied in the longrun!;)

...in college I dated this beautiful girl named Phong, amazing body, all the right moves, thong bikinis, epic beach girl, her brothers name was Nguyen, damn cool!;)
