Need new heatsink.. 30-40$

I have a scythe ninja whatever the newest version sitting on my desk waiting to go in which I picked up for $40

... It seems I'm too late.

Thermalright Ultima-90. $40-ish, but no fan. Plenty powerful though.

For price/performance, nothing can touch this badboy! Excellent contribution. This is about as close as you can come to being [H], without getting the 120 Extreme and being [H].

Is the 120 extreme worth the extra? I'm gonna be getting an e8400 soon and I wanna go for 4ghz+ :D.

The Ultima and the 120 Extreme are, argueably, the best air cooling heatsinks (Ultima if you have size restrictions), however they aren't the best bang-for-your-buck. The Nirvana is awesome and comes close to the 120-extreme for ~60% of the cost. Another good price/performance ratio heatsink is the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro. A final note is that if you do get the 120 extreme, be prepared to lap it to reach its full ability.

I got the smaller Zerotherm that is all copper. I read a review on Anandtech and it had good marks. I believe it beat out the Zalman 9700 which I used to own. For $30.99 I cant beat it.
