I heard that the Senn HD600 are kick ass, so are the Pioneer se-dir1000c.

I am have 500 - 600 dollars or so to spend.

Requirements

Sound good.

Good build quality.

Must be over ear type headphones. (around the ear not on)

Preferably wireless but not necessary if Sennheiser.

What are my options?
 
Wireless headphones don't sound too great. But for that amount of money you could get a top-flight pair of wired headphones, as well as a wireless one for the times you really need to be wireless, and hell maybe even an amp to boot. Sony MDR-SA5000 (etronics), Beyerdynamic DT880 (meier-audio.de), Senn HD650 (toddthevinyljunkie.com), AKG K701 (ditto), Audio-Technica A900,A900LTD,AD2000, or W1000 (audiocubes.com), are all great-sounding, comfortable, hi-end headphones.

you need to put a warning before posts like this, head-fi is even worse than [H] for sucking a persons money away. :D
 
AKG K-701, Beyerdynamic DT880, Senn HD 650, ATH AD700(open) or A700(closed), Audio-Technica ATH-W1000, Audio-Technica ATH-AD1000, Audio-Technica ATH-AD900, Audio-Technica ATH-AD900, Senn HD 600, Alessandro Music Series Pro. These are just to name a few of many great selections. I believe Sony has some nice hi-fi cans as well as Stax 2020 or 404 or the 3000 or 3030.
