Need mobile CPU help (P3 E)

I also posted this in the mobile computing forum so any mods feel free to delete one of them if you don't feel it should be posted in 2 places. Just hoping to improve the chance of getting some good info.

I have a Compaq Presario 1900 series laptop. It's got a P3 E 500 mhz CPU and a 6 gig HDD. I have not been able to turn up a lot of info beyond what is reported by CPU-Z and what I found by taking it apart.

CPU-Z reports the CPU as a P3 E Coppermine 0.18u
Family: 6
Model: 8
Stepping: 1
Revision: cA2

I want to upgrade to a faster CPU and found a P3 mobile 933 mhz SL5GC CPU for pretty cheap. Well, I am not very knowledgable with mobile Intel CPUs and the one I bought is completely different. What I want to know is what is the fastest CPU that will work with this chassis/board.
