Hello,

I have a Compaq FP700 DFP LCD Monitor, in excellent shape. Recently the inverter board inside of the monitor seems to have died, and the monitor will not power up. This monitor is really nice, and I want to get it working asap. Here are some pics of the board

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement part for this? I have checked ebay, to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I think the real question is, what LCD MODULE is connected to the inverter? Inverters are often made to work with many LCDs; I've noticed that LG and Samsung often have shared compatibility on some parts. If you can find out which LCD module is used, then we can possibly cross-reference it with other compatible LCDs, too, increasing the probability of a match.

We usually have a 3 year warranty on monitors. Why not just have it replaced?
