Ok, the software is for a consulting corporation that basically works for home builders.
This is how the person will get paid.
Say the price of the house is 250,000 dollars. The person would be paid 2.5% of the purchase price. They would be paid 50% of 75% of that 2.5% on the date of purchase.
So far, the total ammount the person is paid before closing is $6250, they would be paid 75% of that at two different times. Right away they would get 50% OF THE 75% ($4687.50), so $2343.75 as soon as the house is sold and another 50% when the plan number comes through down the line, so $2343.75 right away, then at a later date another $2343.75
The remaining 25% would be paid on closing.
Basically the software needs to calculate all of this and track it AND also be compatible with Canadian dollars and Canadian GST. I imagine this would require a professional piece of accounting software and price is not an issue.
