need info on mobility radeon x600

ok looking into getting a hp lap top, and i can get either a 128 or 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) X600, but HP doesnt tell me much about them, and ati just gives me a sales pitch, i want to see the interface Im going to get, I need to see that it has S-vid out, and what not, (if it doesnt then I'm not going to get that laptop)



so in summation, can anyone link me to more info on this card,

or

does anyone know if it has s-vid out, and if you use it, does the tv miror the lcd, does the vid switch to the tv, or does it extend the desk top

also do you think its worth the $100 to get the 256 over the 128?

the x600 video chipset equel the 9600 pro AGP version

do not support the sm3.0

buy the 6600 go
 
ok thanks that gave me some of the info i needed before i whent out and bought something, some more things to look into but thanks for the link
 
i own a zd8000 by HP, it's has S-Video and VGA out. I got the 256mb version. It plays World of Warcraft, Half-Life 2, and Doom 3 at medium-lowish settings. If i had it to do over again, i'd have saved the extra $500-600 that i would have needed to get the next laptop that had everything i wanted (which was 17" screen, desktop processor, AND mid-range graphics)... then again thinking about it, that extra time might have caused me to waste money and end up with nothing

i'm happy with it, bottom line.
 
Thanks thats basicaly what i was looking for, i just put the order in last night, so hopfully this will last me a couple years, i got the remote to it, so i just wonder how long its going to be before i loose the damn thing, anyway thanks for the replies
