Hey people, I need ideas for my little crap case right now. Im thinking about doing like a black mirror finish on it with a blow hole on the top and a plexi on the side with something, I need some ideas and some names of good tools to use maybe even a good case mod tutorial would help :D. Thanks

My case

Suggestion 1 is to get a good picture for us to work with.

Suggestion 2 is to pick 2 colors. The case is clearly set up to be painted with 2 different colors, one where there is currently blue and one color to replace the beige. If you want to go for the overdone "black and red", more power to you.

Personally, I'd go for something unique, like orange to replace the beige and faint orange to replace the blue.... who knows.

But yeah, without more and better pictures, we really can't help much. Detail shots would be superb.

Well Ive changed cases I want to redo :p. Ill be posting pics of the other case shortly, just need to put it back together.

Here are a few case pics. Im thinking about making all the blue parts of the case silver and making all the beigh parts a gloss black. Tell me what you think and if you got any ideas for me

Is that a plastic front? I dont think you are going to get a black mirror finish on that. It may coat well but I think it will chip off easy. Also I've found that modding plastic fronts is a pain. I would concentrate most of your modding on the side and top.

Ya its plastic, but I've seen it done before and have heard its doable so its worth a shot in my mind, if it doesnt work, nothing sand paper and gloss black vinyl die cant fix.

Have fun :) Is this your first mod? If so I'd keep it simple like just adding a window and a blowhole or something.

Just go on google.com and type in case mods or whatever...LOL...and do all the mods you can find LOL THANX
C'YA :-D

Why would I put a window on a case that sits against my desk on the ground? Am I the only one that thinks thats a stupid idea?
I might put a blow hole in, not sure yet, need to find some $ first.

If you are going to crap on an idea that someone gives you why are you asking for ideas in the first place?

Fo sho fo sho replace side with plexi. Then put like som el wire round it and out line the side window wit some uv cathodes/LED's something to makem' illuminate...gangstr.... lol but uh also on top, stead of a BLOW HOLE, i dunno how my friend did it tho, but the top of his case, he cut like an oval into it, and bought one of those acrylic case modding kits and used the rubber to out line a piece of plexi and fitted it into the oval. Then he cut into the plexi for the "blow hole" and then your cdrw, remove the top so that you can see the cd start up. Add LEDS on side skirts of cd rw drive and it'll have this really cool ufo affect. So wen u put the cd in, u can see it through the top of your comp with an LED system lighting it that you can hook up to your psu evertime you turn on ur comp. Now back to some lighting. Get the mutant mod meteor kit, any kind of color combo and position to any perspective you desire, finishing touch, add an LED spot light that shines on top of the processor or wut evr so it's all tricked. But try not to go over board on lighting with cathodes, it'll be a lighting disaster. Lastly, on the front panel of your comp, you could cut an 80mm Fan by estimated look of your case, then add a lighted grill or something. If you want something with ventilation, consider the "oval" plexi thing on the top of your case, so that you could have like 4 80mm fans blow down on ur system.
