This really isnt modding but i just recived my new case and it appears to be bent. I am not good with cases and the window appears not to be going back in all the way. I am wondering should i just try to bend it back or leave it be. if i bend it back do i just use plyers(sp?).. If you could tell me what i can do to fix i will be happy. Thanks

If you could post a picture of the problem, it would help a lot. Your description so far is tough to visualize.

You shouldn't have to go through an RMA at all, if the damage was due to shipping. Contact the company you bought it from, and report the damage. If it was shipped via UPS or Fedex, it should be covered. USPS shipping requires seperate insurance, so you might be out of luck if they shipped it that way.

I had a case I bought from Xoxide a while back, that came looking like one of the UPS people had used it (unsucessfully) as a step stool. I took a couple pics, e-mailed 'em to the folks at Xoxide, explaining the damage, and they called me a couple hours later. The gal was really nice, told me to hold onto the case for 2 weeks, in case UPS wanted to inspect it or the shipping box, and sent me out a new case the next business day (which luckily came undamaged). When I asked her what I should do with the damaged case, she told me I could do whatever I wanted with it.......so I kept it, banged the dents out, re-did the window, and sold it! LOL :p

The bottom line is that you received damaged goods, that weren't your fault, right? You paid your hard earned money, and expected an undamaged product, and didn't get it. Get on the phone, and tell 'em you want a new case. The worst that will happen is that you'll be told to ship back the damaged case, and be out whatever the shipping runs you, but you'll end up with a good case.
