I'm having a hard time figuring this out.
My wife's computer I built is just a regular P4 with 1gb ram and shared video memory.
My computer I built also is a C2D with 2gb of ram and 512mb video card.
The problem is, my wife's computer boots up in just a min or two approx from the time you push the power button, to the time you can click on something and not have to wait for windows to finish loading before it will open.
However, my pc from the time you push the button to the time you can click on something and it will open is approx 3 times as long and seems to be about 5-7 mins before you can click on something and not have to wait for it to open.
My question is: with the help of everyone here, what information do you need about my pc that will help us figure out this issue and get some faster boot times?
They both have roughly the same programs installed and most of the msconfig startup has been disabled except for what I need.
