I have following
asus a8n-e bios 1007.002
x2 4200+
zalman 7000alcu-a
2 x crucial ddr 500 512mb
6600gt
wd raptor
dvdrw
460w eps zippy ps
fdd
I have been trying to overlclock this but I am running into problem.
First I got up to 2500 but had to use 1.5V CPU vcore. Then I can pass 2 instances of prime95 running short ftt, but long ftt fails immediately on one cpu.
Is the cpu just a dud? Is vcore safe.
setting I have are
11 x 227
htt x 3
ram timing 3-4-4-8
vcore 1.5v
ram voltage 2.85
pci-e locked 100
pci lockeed 33
I have to run at cmd 2T because any fsb over 200 with cmd 1T might pass prime95 but hangs pcmark04, 05 mem bench. Any suggestions? The max cpu temp so far is 59C with dual prime95.
