I've got a small digital voice recorder which I've lost the USB cable for. Unfortunately, I can't find a suitable replacement despite everything I've tried. It's smaller than even the microUSB plug I've tried from RadioShack.

So I'm looking for any suggestions: where can I find a USB cable that would go into that jack? It's about 5.5mm long and 2.5mm high, you can see standard 3.5mm audio plug right next to it. THe recorder, btw, is Denn DDD 2012

Where did you buy it from? I can't find anything online on your particular recorder, and I have a feeling that the USB cable you're looking for is proprietary.

Looks like a Mini USB "B" receptacle, of either the 4- or 8-pin type. My guess is the 4-pin type.

Edit: If it is the 4-pin, then here's one matching cable on Newegg.

Thanks :) It does look like that :) But I checked the jack and it has 8 contacts, so it probably needs an 8-pin cable... but who knows, maybe 4pin will work.

Heh. I have one of those that came with an old bt headset. didn't know they used that connector for anything else.

Bought in Russia in pinch :) Well, yeah, I fear it's proprietary but hopefully, some of the obscure mini- or micro-USB plugs will fit.
