Need Help With USB Video Capture Device!!

Hi everyone, I would like to capture video from my PS3 and play it on my PC's LCD monitor at the same time. After a bit of research, I thought the ATI TV Wonder HD 600 USB PC TV Tuner would be a good choice, however I found out that a lot of people had trouble installing it. I am running vista and want to record my rock band videos so the no lag factor is essential.

Most video capture devices introduce a slight delay. I hope you won't be playing it on the LCD monitor.

I'm developing a media app that uses the Pinnacle HD Pro USB stick that does the same thing as that. I also hope you aren't hoping for a quality image on the LCD as the composite connector or even the svideo will not do the PS3 justice. It looks really bad over svideo and composite.

That being said there is only ONE consumer level Component capture device - costs $250. Thats the Hauppauge HD-PVR. Its intended to plug into HD DirecTV and Comcast set top boxes and capture 1080i or 720p video. It JUST started shipping and has problems of its own.

You'll be able to do what you want with the Visiontek, but you won't like it.
