Need help with thermally controlled fan

I've got a 92mm thermally controlled fan on top of my XP-90C and i'd like to run it at a higher speed than it is now. Is there any way to disable the thermal sensor and run it at full speed? Speedfan and the BIOS won't let me...any other ideas would be appreciated.
 
if you can move the thermal sensor, put it somewhere.. hot. haha, the psu exhaust should do pretty well. or if you can manage to stick it to the side of your ihs, that would be perfect. the cpu heats up, the fan speeds up.

though, if you can't move it, cut the wires that go to the thermal resistor and bypass it, either with a vriable resistor so you can adjust the can speed, or connect the two wires together for full speed.
 
LOL ok i'll try. I mean its not like its bad the way it is...keeps my 2.7GHz 3200+ a64 to under 50 degrees at load and under 40 at idle...but i'd thought i'd see how cool it can get.
 
Seriously, thermal fans are not supposed to be on your CPU...what do you think is going to happen if that sensor gets confused?
