I'm about to ship a notebook LCD that I removed from the unit itself, so the LCD is exposed. I was wonderin if I needed an anti-static bag for it. I have bubble wrap ready as well and was wondering what other tips migh be useful to prevent the LCD screen from cracking.

Thanks and all the help will be appreciated.

i shipped mine without anti static wrap IMO it is not needed. it worked for this guy i sold it to!

does this help?

I'd put it in a mobo AS bag then tape a sheet of styrofoam to either side completely covering both sides then put it in a box after wraping it in bubble wrap. I'd put that box in a larger box and suspend it in peanuts.

I know that's overkill but I think it's better safe than sorry. Good luck!

Secure the LCD to somthing stable such as a big piece of cardboard and secure the cardboard to the box like tape the shit out of it or somthing the less moving it can do the less chance of breakage consider double boxing even
