I really want to go SFF but I'm not to sure about it. I'm basically going to rigth out what I want inside and could someone tell me if its possible or even reasonable to do it this way.

Intel q6600
Geforce 8800gtx or gts haven't decided yet.

Could someone just give me some basic heads up on if this is a good idea for sff thank you.

you should certainly start/continue reading up on the mATX and SFF motherboard threads here...those guys really know their stuff.

My current rig for comparison of a Gaming SFF:
Asus P5LD2-VM motherboard (Rev 2.0)
E6700 (not quad, no support on my motherboard) watercooled
4X512Meg 675 DDR2- Corsair @ 1.9V limit
8800GTX watercooled
XFi extreme music
2X250Gig Western Digital 7200rpm Caviar
Ultra 550watt Xfinity Power supply

More and more mATX are now coming out with Quad core support, so read up on those.

Nice spec's except you didn't list your case and I believe that is one of the questions ( I'm curious too! :D ).

I don't deal with the dark side, but I like my MicroFly noted in the sig.

Check my sig. I love my rig so far and plan on doing some water cooling soon.

My 8800 GTS KO runs excellent and should have some DX10 future proof. You can't go wrong with the e6600.

Current case:
Qmicra (heavily modded and expensive)

Next case:
Qmicra version 2 (much less, and yes, it will be modded as well).

:)

my shuttle p case mine is the sn25p fit a gts no problem and with minimal modes it will fit a gtx and they have a c2d version..

mine ocs quite well....

also i like the sillverstone sugo and i have seen a gtx in that case... and it uses an atx psu so power wont be a peoblem...
