I've been running dual monitor for quite some time now (using 2x Asus VH236H monitors) and was able to recently obtain an Asus VE247H monitor. My computer is running a Sapphire Radeon 6970 graphics card and am have trouble getting all three monitors to work. Was seeking some advice!

Here is my current set up:

I was using the VE247H (in the center of the three computers) as my "main display" originally and connected this one via HDMI. The two VH236H monitors were connected via DVI.

To my understanding, I have done this incorrectly and at least one of the monitors needs to be connected via Display Port. My graphics card has 2 mini display ports (no regular display ports). I think what I need is an Eyefinity supported Mini Display to HDMI (or DVI) adapter.

Can anyone please confirm this and furthermore, link to any suggested brands for adapters?

Any help is much appreciated.

The cables I have for my monitor aren't the single link DVI cables, they are the other ones with a + on them (I think its called Active?). This would mean that it isn't compatible with Single Link DVI cables would it?

Why does it need to be single link DVI cables? I skimmed through the eyefinity FAQ and didn't notice any mention of it needing to be Single DVI's.

My biggest concern is I can't use Single Link DVI cables with my monitors, which makes it that much harder to figure out.

Thanks again.

I currently have 1 dual link DVI, 1 Single link dvi and 1 HDMI. The single link DVI is going into the active display port adaptor into the video card. Im not exactly sure why it needs to be active but it does.

Im not sure why it said it has to be a single link, i just used it because A, they came with the monitors and B, i happened to find a cheep DP adapter for cheep. I couldnt help you on the tech side of this, tho im really curious myself.
