so i'm getting a watercooling setup soon, going to make my own blocks (its something i want to do, no flames please)

so i'm cooling an operton 165 (max voltage probably 1.45V) and two 7900 GTO's. note that i'm cooling the *core only* on those cards.

i'm having a lot of trouble deciding on the rad...i was thinking of the swiftech MCR220 quiet power but i'm not sure if it can handle it...there will be plenty of overclocking on those parts and i'm not planning on any voltmodding for the video cards.

anyone?

mcr220 could NOT handle my two 7800gtx 512mb and my o/ced opty 165(3ghz 1.5v). things got too warm with it. i would look at a bigger rad for what u are trying to do.

yeah i figure better to overkill than underkill and i got the mcp655 or whatever it is to push it all so i should be ok

i have an mcr220 and a thermochill he120.3 in my loop! :p

Heh, I have an MCR320+MCR 220 for the rig in my sig.

What is your flow like?

Two MCR rads + Fuzion with nozzles + EK full cover should be really restrictive...

I'm asking because I plan on having a similar setup (but instead of a 655 I'm going with the 355 with petra top).

.36 GPM on setting one, 1.28 on setting 5

filthysanchez has a very nice setup. I've been planning on doing most of the same modifications.

The most restrictive part of his loop is the EK FC block. A swiftech would allow for more flow. Check out the flow calculator here.

That's how I got my calculations.

I don't really wanna sell my 120 dollar full cover block right now though. I'd take a trade for an MCW-60 and some iandh ramsinks+a little cash though.

Eh. Flow rate doesn't mean anything anyways, so long as it's above 0.75gpm... The difference between my pump's 5 and 1 settings quantify at 3c under constant load.
