Need help with pictures/script.

I have about 1000 pictures that I need to break into 30-40 topic pages.

On each of those topic pages I want to have ~35-40 thumbnails. I want them to be able to click on any of the thumbnails, and have it pop up a page with the picture AND my ads.

Are there any scripts that will make this easy to do? It's a pretty simple site of php include templates that I threw together...
