Need help with physical disk in CentOS VM

Okay, I've set up a VM running CentOS 5.5 in VMWare Workstation. I want to give it access to a physical disk (1.5TB Western Digital). I followed the instructions on VMWare's site for adding a physical disk, and all seemed to go well, but after booting the VM, the disk doesn't appear in CentOS:confused:

Any ideas? Am I skipping a step or something?
