You cant make one driver bigger by transfering gb from one drive to another. Try to transfer some data from your c: drive to you d: drive to free up some space.

Sure you can. You just need some type of third party software that supports partition resizing. Partition Magic (formerly powerquest, now symantec) is probably the most highly recommended. While it's always recommended to backup, I've done this several times without issue. There are some freeware apps like this one, that will more than likely be OK, but they're definitley more risky. Perhaps someone else can recommend a freeware app they've had personal epxerience with.

Wow! I learn something new everyday.

so with that program i can transfer gb's from my d: to c:. Because I have more GB's in my D: than my C: and now my C: is in low disk space.

Right, it resizes both partitions. So if you have 20 on one and 80 on the other, you could make it 40/60 assuming you have that much free space on the other. This is by no means though 100% safe, and it is always possible that it could go wrong. You do run the risk of loosing both, so make sure you have a backup. It can sometimes take over an hour for a move like this as well, depending on your partition sizes.

For me that's one of the best things about this forum!
