Bought a 2.4A P4 and a MSI PT880 to play around with. Havent had an overclocked system since my BP6 and dual 366's, so my knowledge is a little out of date. When i try raising the bus speed even a few percent the sata controller goes nuts and corrupted my hard drive (fresh install thankfully) in a couple of trys. I though on newer chipsets the pci and agp busses were independent of the FSB, so the SATA controller wouldnt have known the difference in FSB speeds. Any ideas on what i am doing wrong? I would like to be able to put that SP94 i bought to good use.

Also, what is considered an acceptable voltage range for a stock cooled video card, might as well try an overclock on my Radeon 9600. Thanks

And dang this thing feels fast even at stock speeds compared toits predecessor, a 1.3 duron and 16 meg pci voodoo 3:D
