My wife's laptop died and we have a PSP through BB(i know not the best). Anyway they said they will give us a comperable model even if it is cheaper than the unit which I originaly purchased. The one I purchased had a discrete video(9600). All the ones that they have now are onboard. I was wondering if the newer onboard video can handle some games like BF2 and AoE3 with medium settings. I Wanted to know how hard I should fight to get another unit with discrete video. Originaly I paiid extra for that feature and don't want to lose it, if the current onbaord is how it was 2 years ago.

Thanks For Reading Any Input Is Greatly Appreciated..

Mike

any onboard video is gonna be horrible compared to the 9600 you had , what laptops are you looking at so maybe we can steer you in the right direction?

I figured they would be bad. I have limited selection at the store. I just didnt know if there was anything out there that is passible. Was looking at the Sony with the new Intel x3100 video. Some say it could be, but with Intels past track record I doubt it. I don't game alot on it unless we are traveling but if you paid for it i would like to keep it.

Thanks
Mike
