Need help with dual displays

Hello,
I just got a Dell Inspiron E1505 for a client and an extra monitor. This client wants to put the extra monitor on the other side of her desk so her clients can see documents. She is an Attorney. I wanted to setup the system so both monitors display the same image.
Here's my problem,
The ATI mobilitly video card software will not let me set the resolutions of the 2 monitors independantly when in clone mode. It will only let me set the resolutions independently when the desktop is stretched across both screens. Is there a third party software solution to allow this?

How would you expect different resolutions to work in clone mode? The point of clone mode is to show the exact same image on both screens, which can't be done if one monitor has a higher resolution than the other.

*Edit: I just checked Ultramon and saw no setting that would allow that. If Ultramon doesn't support it, chances are pretty good it doesn't exist.
 
There's a solution if she's using Linux. If not, it's not very viable.
