need help with ati 9800 pro

i have D845GEBV2 intel motherboard which has only 4x agp slot. and i bought the 9800 pro 8x video card, can anyone tell me how much performace would i loose with 4x, would it matter at all, or would it be better just to change the motherboard and get a 8x motherboard. thanks for your help in advance.

Most people say there's no noticable difference between 4x AGP and 8x AGP and I believe them :).
 
I accedently had my card set to 4 x for a month and I didn't noticed a difference when I switched it to 8X
