alright, so this is the deal. at my work, we've got a 20/1Mbit ADSL2+ connection, and it's not cutting it for our webcam anymore. it gets quite a bit of traffic from the locals, as it's a pretty decent view of the town. but anyway, we've worked up a deal with a local isp, and they're going to be providing us with a dedicated 10/10mbit connection just for the cam.
on top of the bandwidth issue, it's not the greatest cam in the world, and it gets overloaded if 15 or more people are viewing it at a time. so i need suggestions here. i was wondering if there was some kind of software i could load on one of our servers to basically receive the image locally, and broadcast it over the net from there? i'm open to other suggestions too, but that's the first thing i thought of. i'm sure such a thing exists but i wouldn't know the name of it.
