Need help with a future build.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, MMO's, RTS, DOTA 2, and for FPS I really only touch BF3 or CS(45% of the time and droping), but I also build with future plans in mind so I need to be able to render still pictures no animation, and ALOT of photoshop and programming, and light video editing. Also I may or will be running Virtual Environments so VMware included
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$2800-$4000(getting parts overtime)
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

U.S.A. Southern California
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Issue with CPU(LGA 2011 only) and RAM
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
not reusuing but keeping the old 4870 has a backup GPU.
6) Will you be overclocking?
no, I build to last and I usually upgrade every 3.5 to 5 years, so this build have to last till 2017,2018(not the video card of course but the cpu must) or when intel's skymount chipset is released(so you know it goes skylake "tick" then skymount "tock")
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1900x1200
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
parts over time, hope to be done by the end of the year.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
UEFI(a must)
RAID
crossfire or SLI
USB 3.0
SATA 6gb/s

Note: I will be cashing two 1TB with 30GB SSD for a bit of a speed boost, booting from 120gb SSD and using 2tb HDD for storage
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Vista 64-Bit, will buy windows 8 and will be using Linux OS

Truthfully I have a general Idea of what I want so its question #1, #4 that I need answers too(CPU and RAM). would the 3930K be enough or should I go the Xeon route for dual CPU for rendering still pictures?

This doesn't make sense to me: if your planned finished date is at the end of the year, why not just wait till the release of the Ivy-Bridge-E CPUs and do the build then?

Depends on the case you're using and how many RAM slots you want. Also, is the application you're using for rendering still images heavily multi-threaded? What app is it anyway?

for 3D still ill be using 3Ds max, mental ray and maya. I currently have the 1st cosmos, and ill be changing it to the cosmos 2
