So i bought this computer back in march, brand new athlon 64 3400+, Asus k8v se deluxe motherboard, and an x800 xt pe. So i ended up selling the x800 and buying a x850 xt.

Im selling the whole computer now just for the fact of going pci-e, socket 939. Im losing about 70 dollars overall from what i paid for the price im selling it at. The x850 xt is brand new sealed, and the processor and motherboard are used.

Is the loss of 70 dollars small compared to the loss id sell it at after 7800 gtx and new 939 dual cores come out?

Once the 7800 is out there, you're going to find less people interested in buying it. Same goes for the R520....the closer it gets, the more inclined people are going to be to hold out. Eventually, you'll have to quite literally give it away.

why sell it... use it.. itll still be sufficient to play games for a couple years..

you wont get much for it... why sell it... if uve used the pc wont it be more of a lose then just 70?
if u can get away with just that amount of loss, then that would be good.
