Why do you need a Core i7 processor for audio work? Which programs are you using?

What is the model (number) of the Lian Li case that you have?

Which edition of Windows 7 do you have: Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate? Is your copy of Windows a Retail version or an OEM version? (If it's OEM, have you used it on another system?)

Which games do you (want to) play? What is your primary monitor when gaming?

How old is the Antec TP-750?

Here's a preliminary build:

$165 - Intel Core i5-2310 Socket 1155 quad-core processor
$110 - MSI Z77A-G43 Intel Z77 Socket 1155 ATX motherboard
$38 - Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 1333 dual channel RAM kit
$77 - Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB 7200RPM HDD
$23 - Samsung SH-224BB/RSBS SATA DVD burner
$200 - HIS H785F2G2M Radeon HD 7850 2GB PCI Express 3.0 x16 video card
$81 - Asus XONAR DX PCI Express x1 7.1 channel sound card
=====
$694 - Subtotal (not including shipping, taxes, or rebates)

You never answered my questions on the age of the power supply and why you "need" a Core i7 processor for audio editing.

What games are you currently playing? Which upcoming (or recently released) games do you want to play?

What type of connection are you currently using with your Rokit 8 speakers?

I have some serious concerns about the Lian Li PC-61. It uses 80mm case fans to cool everything, which I don't believe is sufficient to cool today's parts under heavy load. If push comes to shove, would you be willing to buy a newer case capable of greater cooling?

@ tiraides, You are great! Thanks for your replys man.. I want to use my TRS cables I have for the audio. I play COD4 and BF3. I would love to play at MAX settings on both games. I would upgrade a case but would I really need to if I play BF3 at max settings for 3 hours? I would assume so? I dont really need a I7.. Thanks for showing me that!! My power supply is about two years old.

That's a problem.

The TRS cables, based on a quick Google search, are 1/4" whereas the connections on the Asus XONAR sound cards (and most sound cards, for that matter) are 1/8".

What sound card were you using on your old/current system?

Is your budget still $700 and now including the cost of a new case?

Also, please answer Tiraides' last question.
