AMD Athalon XP 2500+
Radeon 9600 Pro
Seagate 120 GB 7200 RPM
512 MB Ram

how long have u had the card? is it oc'd? did u recently change ne other drivers? need more nfo.

i havent overclocked it and got it last august and the only recent thing i did was change the power supply

Your problem may not even be the 9600Pro. It could be a number of things causing that kind of problem.

More information is needed.

Well if it helps im only using one stick of ram(512mb), maybe i should use my friends ram or video card on mine. What may it also have to do with? Sorry but i dont know half about computers that many people on this site.

Well your on the right track thinking you should swap out parts with your friends to see what is wrong. Unless someone here pinpoints your problem of course. I would try it with his ram and see how it works, then try it with his video card and your original ram. If the vid card is a different make/model you might want to make a system restore checkpoint before you flip flop those. If you can't figure out what it is with those parts then at least you've taken 2 possiblities off the list, unless your friends stuff isnt compatible with yours etc.. etc..

Do you think it has anything to do with the processor because i had a bad case where the computer would shut down due to over heating issues. I posted some info about my comp on my signature.
