I just bought a PNY 6600gt agp card for my system and all works great except for one annoying problem.
When I right-click on a file in windows explorer, to get it's properties for example, the screen blacks out for a second and comes back. At least one time, the screen actually messed up and I had to navigate to the screen properties in the dark to restore it by changing the resolution to another res and back.
I know it's normal for the screen to black out sometimes when you're setting display properties, but I've never seen it do it in explorer.
My previous card, an ATI 9700pro, never did this, so I'm wondering if it's driver related or power supply related. I have the latest drivers (77.72) and I'm using a HEC-350lD-T 350watt power supply. I've tried reinstalling drivers and it doesn't seem to help. Games run fine and I have no problem with any programs. It seems driver related to me, but I want a 2nd opinion. What driver version is considered the MOST stable? Maybe I'll try that.

Edit: After tinkering around a bit, I've determined that it only blinks out when I right-click on AVI, MPG or MPEG files. Could this have something to do with the integrated HDTV encoder? Maybe there's some kind of video acceleration that I can disable?
