Need help w/ PC locking up/freezing.

Specs;

Asus P5N-E
E6850 @ 3.6
36Gb Raptor Hd.
500 Watt Enermax PSU
1Gb Corsair PC6400
BFG 7900 GTX

Those are some of my specs. Now, I recently upgraded the CPU from a P4 to a C2D and I get random lock ups/freezes on the PC while gaming or doing anything for that matter.

Anyone have such problems?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may need to bump up the core voltage a bit. I don't know how well the E6850 overclocks on stock voltages, but to hit a stable 3.6GHz I would imagine you need to up the voltages a few notches.
