I have a Scorpio ATX case which has an acrylic see-thru side panel. I'd like to do something to bundle and cover some of the wires. I'm a newbie at this but I'd like to use heat shrink but was wondering how you get the shrink around the wires when the connectors are already on? Or is there something else I could use instead of heat shrink?

Try hitting up your local automotives parts shop and look for "wire wrap" what we all call split loom. Its substantially cheaper than buying it through any modder seller though the colour choices may be more limited (usually black, red and yellow). The diameter is usually 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" (from what I recall).

IMO, split loom isn't worth wasting time on. It adds a lot of bulk to your cables, which makes them harder to route and really hard to hide. All it does it turn your "cable spaghetti" into "cable worms". The only real advantage split loom has is ease of installation. Flex loom looks much better and adds almost no mass to the cables. It just take a little more time and money.
