need help understanding how to wire lcd panel

This is the sharp lcd lq10d421 here are the specs:

But is it possible to get a standard vga output?​

It says that it accepts an "18 bit" digital input signal in addition to the power supply and other pins...I'm not sure if VGA is capable of driving that. Have a look at the D-SUB pinout:

Maybe it's designed for DVI applications?

I don't know I am begining to think that maybe it just isn't possible.
I hope someone will tell me I am wrong.
I could set it up for dvi also if it would work.

Electrical engineer here. You appear to have a flat panel display that has 6 bit red, green, and blue data inputs and horizontal and vertical sync. I am guessing you want to interface it to a VGA or DVI card in a PC?. Without the hardware and firmware that goes in between, it wont work.
