well the other day im just chillin on msn playing some chess against a friend and my computer starts locking up not letting me to click on anything, but then after a few seconds it would unfreeze and everything i clicked would pop up. so i decide to restart my computer and it takes over 40 minutes to load into windows. the windows xp loading screen was were it took the most time, all the boot process before taht seemed to be ok. when i checked the bios for cpu temp it said 129f is that too hot for a athlon xp 2000+ with a volcano 7+.... my rig is getting kinda outdated so im on the verge of buying a new computer... but is it that my processor is fried or could it be my HD? because im about to go buy a new mobo, processor, and ram but i dont want to spend the money and then find out its my HD. any insight would be greatly appreciated
