Hey all,

Newbie looking for advice here. Been lurking for a while :p . I need some help with switching over to a SFF pc.. At the moment I've got a big chieftec dragon case, which is great for modding and the like, but after being on placement for a year in London, I'm heading back to university for my final year, after which I'll be moving back down to London to live in some small cupboard somewhere. All this traveling, and not being able to afford space makes me want to switch to SFF!

I've been searching around a bit, but I'm back to where I started, and not sure what to do. At the moment, the specs of my PC are as follows:

Intel E6400, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5N-E SLi, 2xMSI 7800GT, G-skill Ultra DDR2 PC6400 (2x1Gig), Seasonic S12-600w and a Samsung Spinpoint P120s 200Gb.

Whats most important in this build is that I can still run my two 22" Samsung SyncMaster 225bw's. Idealy, I'd like to switch to a Q6600, and upgrade the GFX, possibly to a 8800GTS, and obviously change the mb and power supply.

I use my PC mostly for dual screen work and surfing, but also I do play new games.

Basically I just need a setup that will give me everything I need (oh, need WiFi too). I'd really like some ideas on what my options are, or if you can point me in the right direction to any good articles etc...

Thanks for your help in advance!!! :)

well yeah you're gonna have to change the mobo, I reccomend something small(case-wise) from silverstone.
I'm going to reccomend an ASUS P5E-VM HDMI, great overclocking, nice decent mobo.
You're also gonna want to change your Heatsink and Fan. something smaller such as a Thermaltake orb or something of that nature, thermalright also makes a cool 4 heatpipe heatsink that is flat and cools the CPU

(I know you're not going to buy from there but just for reference)

Yea, I'm fine with switching mb so i can fit into a much smaller case (I think the smallest the best here) but still want to be fine running dual 22"s, and single 22 gaming... maybe just 1gfx card so i can squeze into a shuttle?
